Poetry with Wine
Poetry with Wine is the final event in our Poetry Program 2014/15.
Poet and storyteller Jaya Penelope’s work is nourished by her endless fascination with folklore, fairytale and mythology. A published poet, her first love remains the spoken word. She is also a lover of walking, wild figs and sunset storms. She can sometimes be seen telling stories with her band of bards: the Tealeaf Troubadours…
This is a FREE event 🙂 We cater for one glass of red / white wine, a soft drink, or tea/coffee per attendee as well as cheese platters with dried fruit and nuts. Doors open at 6.15pm.
Bring along your original poetry to share at an ‘open mike’ session following Jaya’s readings.
All performers must register with Tamara – the Library Events Officer via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
