Remember Picnic at Hanging Rock?
Remember the controversy?
The acclaimed 1975 film by Peter Weir is not easily forgotten; a group of beautiful young girls in white dresses & lace up boots with ribbons in their hair set off on a Valentine’s Day picnic at Hanging Rock. Predictably the girls ignore the instructions not to explore and set off up the slopes and amongst the rocks. Mysteriously three of the girls vanish, seemingly into thin air. The whole community is deeply affected by the disappearances and the mystery deepens as one of the girls returns with no memory of her ordeal, while other’s from the school have strange misfortunes befall them.
