WIN! Jane Eyre Movie Tickets

We all have them… unfinished books and piles of shame. One of our librarians has admitted to never having read Jane Eyre. Another has never finished reading Harry Potter. Which “great books” are on your pile of shame?

To celebrate the release of Jane Eyre at the cinema we want to reward your honesty. Tell us the book(s) you have never finished and why to go into the draw for a prize pack that includes a double in season pass to see Jane Eyre (coming August 11) and other goodies, there are three up for grabs!

Leave your answer in a comment below for your chance to win.

Entries close Friday August 5th 2011 and winners will be announced on Monday the 8th.

One entry per person. Entry is open to City of South Perth library members only. Winners will be drawn at random and be notified by email.

This competition is now closed. Thank you to all who entered!

A Tale of Two Cities. I have tried a couple of times thinking that it was one of those books that one should have read, but I just found it such hard going. In the end I watched the movie **gasp**!

A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole Have bought this book twice and I will probably give my last copy away again…the book has never grabbed me from the start despite trying to start it about 6 times. Both copies I have purchased have also had small print which makes it a chore to read. Quite a few friends have said it is fabulous but, I dont think I will ever get to read about Ignatius.
